Turning a 20-year-old heritage brand into a global eCommerce powerhouse.
Tarangarts was an established traditional handicrafts brand with no digital infrastructure. Their physical sales were strong, but their global potential was untapped due to lack of online presence.
I approached the project with a clear goal: honor the handcrafted legacy of Tarangarts while transforming it into a digital-first business. After a brand immersion, I mapped out the full online architecture—from homepage hierarchy to the final checkout screen. I custom-built a React.js storefront designed to feel both artisanal and intuitive.
Every product was tagged and categorized thoughtfully to improve discoverability. I designed the category landing pages to balance visual appeal with SEO functionality. On the backend, I configured smart inventory tracking and payment integrations with Razorpay and international-friendly checkout options.
Beyond development, I orchestrated the launch campaign—developing Meta Ads creatives, configuring Google Ads targeting for international regions, and setting up conversion-tracking dashboards to monitor KPIs from day one.
